Aestech will once again be selecting the best projects using glass in the world

For the second year in a row, Aestech is initiating and supporting the Futureglass Prize award as part of the world's most significant architecture and development event, the World Architecture Festival 2023.

As we mentioned earlier, during the World Architecture Festival at the end of November, the Aestech team will showcase innovative glass facade systems and lightweight wall panels to the world's most renowned architects, designers, and developers. Recently, the company announced that it would initiate a special award, The Futureglass Prize, to honor the most interesting and daring architectural projects that incorporate glass.

On December 1st, the last day of the festival, Aestech CEO Leonid Lazebnikov, and expert jury representatives will announce the award winner. Last year, eight projects from around the world made it to the shortlist, ranging from the USA to New Zealand. The victory was awarded to the architectural bureau MVRDV for their project, the public art depot, Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, in Rotterdam.

"The projects honored with The Futureglass Prize are a vivid example of the development of glazing technologies and the popularization of glass as a material. Last year, choosing the winner was quite challenging, as the level of projects was very high. We are confident that this year we will see even more bold and intriguing projects," commented Leonid Lazebnikov, CEO of Aestech.
More details about The Futureglass Prize award can be found on the World Architecture Festival's website for this year's event.
