TECHIIA supports the Ukrainian delegation in the international conference SXSW 2022 in Texas

For the first time ever, Ukraine will have its own showcase at the South by Southwest (SXSW) conference, during which 6 Ukrainian startups will demonstrate their products to the audience and investors. The international holding TECHIIA supported the trip of the Ukrainian delegation, and the Chief Innovations Officer of the holding Oleksandr Davydenko was one of the jury members of the jury who had chosen these 6 startups.

Almost 60 Ukrainian technology companies competed for the chance to take part in this conference. But only 6 best were to win the competition, and these became Framiore, effa, Deep3dstudio, FlashBeats, Proof-of-Love, and SPOKK.

Delegates from Ukraine were selected by USAID's Competitive Economy Program, Ukrainian Startup Fund, Startup Grind Kyiv, Western NIS Enterprise Fund, and TECHIIA during the Pitch Event at UNIT.city.

TECHIIA continues to fulfill the obligations of the Memorandum with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, within one of its goals, which is to promote the development of the Ukrainian IT industry. The holding supported the trip of the Ukrainian delegation so that young technology companies could compete for investment and bring products to the global market.

South by Southwest (SXSW) is an annual event that has been bringing together people from the world of technology and innovation in Austin, Texas for 35 years now. This year's SXSW will run from March 11 to 20. Every year the event is attended by about 70 thousand people and 10 thousand companies as well as such guests as Elon Musk, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Mark Cuban.
