The future of Ukraine is closely connected with technology companies both Ukrainian and global ones that the country can attract to its economy, Oleh Humeniuk, the Chief Operating Officer of the TECHIIA holding, is convinced. He told about this in his online interview within the "Headquarters" project from Delo.ua.
"After the victory, many partners will help rebuild Ukraine. They will focus on the best technological solutions. That will cause a demand for highly qualified individuals who will be involved in reconstruction processes, as well as a demand for modern, high-quality education," says Oleh Humeniuk, the Chief Operating Officer of the TECHIIA holding.
He is sure that the technology sector of the economy will be useful here: "Technology companies create new solutions and jobs. New jobs mobilize the economy and increase educational requirements. The level of education reaches an innovative level."
According to Humeniuk, after the victory, Ukraine has the potential for an economic boost. Knowledge, talents, flexibility, and a strong desire for qualitative changes are keys to this. In parallel, it is necessary to work on the liberalization of Ukrainian legislation and tax incentives in order to stimulate international companies to enter Ukraine, and Ukrainian businesses to go global.
"It is necessary to accumulate the financial potential of Ukraine with the help of solutions that are unique to our country. I am now talking about the liberalization of legislation or tax incentives. So that, for example, international fintech companies could work in our country officially, fill the budget pay the taxes which is acceptable for them, and we, accordingly, receive funds for the restoration and development of our potential. Such a trend is important for Ukraine," emphasizes Chief Operating Officer of the TECHIIA holding Oleh Humeniuk.
